FLOOR PLUS – SPC Flooring Warranty (10-Year Coverage)

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for choosing FLOOR PLUS as your flooring provider. To ensure your satisfaction, we present the following Warranty Policy. This warranty is applicable only to the primary purchaser/owner and is subject to the terms, limitations, and exclusions described below.


Warranty Coverage

FLOOR PLUS provides the following assurances for our SPC flooring:

  1. Defect-Free Manufacturing – Guaranteed free from manufacturing defects.
  2. Termite Resistance – Protected against termite damage.
  3. Water Resistance – Guaranteed resistance against water-related damage under normal conditions.

If defects covered by this warranty are verified, FLOOR PLUS will authorise repair or replacement of the affected area.


Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover issues arising from the following:

  • Improper or Non-Professional Installation – Use of wrong adhesives, tools, or poor workmanship (to be claimed with your installer).
  • Visible Manufacturing Defects at Installation – Any product installed despite visible defects.
  • Improper Maintenance – Including use of soaps, detergents, harsh chemicals, wax, or abrasive cleaners.
  • Surface Damage – Cuts, scratches, burns, dents, gouges, stains, or fading from sunlight/heat.
  • Moisture & Alkalinity Problems – Excessive moisture, hydrostatic pressure, flooding, plumbing leaks, or seepage.
  • Deviations from Samples/Prints – Variations in color, embossing, or shade.
  • Direct Sunlight Exposure – Expansion caused by direct heat/sunlight without proper protection.


Subfloor Condition (Important Limitation)

  • SPC flooring requires a flat, level, clean, and structurally sound subfloor.
  • Installation on uneven or inadequately prepared subfloors can result in:
    • Squeaky or squishy sounds
    • Lifting, gapping, or broken floorboards
  • Such problems are not covered under warranty.
  • Customers are strongly advised to carry out self-levelling or subfloor preparation before installing ABA SPC flooring.
  • Failure to do so will void warranty coverage for any damages arising from subfloor irregularities.


Additional Terms

  • Warranty is non-transferable.
  • Defects must be reported within 3 months of purchase.
  • Only flooring installed and maintained according to FLOOR PLUS guidelines is covered.
  • FLOOR PLUS is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, loss of use, or reinstallation costs.
  • One warranty claim is permitted within the coverage period.
  • FLOOR PLUS reserves the right to interpret, verify, and deny claims if conditions are not met.
  • No employee or agent is authorised to modify this warranty.


Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Report your claim through the dealer where the purchase was made.
  2. Provide proof of purchase (original receipt).
  3. Submit photos and description of the issue.
  4. A site inspection may be scheduled.
  5. If valid, FLOOR PLUS will repair, replace, or refund the defective product at its discretion.


Refund and Return Policy

Effective Date: Date on Invoice

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our Refund & Return Policy below:

1. Eligibility

  • Refunds/returns accepted within 60 days of purchase.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
  • Installed, clearance, or custom items are non-refundable.

2. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted if:

  • Items are not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts (not due to our error).
  • Items are returned beyond 60 days.

3. Process

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval/rejection.
  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 working days.

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Sale/discounted items are not refundable.

5. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are available only for defective or damaged items. Contact: bernard@floorplus.com.my.

6. Shipping for Returns

  • Customers bear return shipping costs (non-refundable).
  • For items over RM300, use trackable shipping/insurance.
